Computer Skills - IT Fundamentals
All the basics you need to start to use your computer effectively.
This course covers hardware (the parts of a computer you can touch), the extras you can buy to go with a standard PC and software (the programmes that run your computer). Tutors explain computer basics in a non technical manner show you how to find photos, documents and folders on your computer using Windows and give some IT security tips.
This session is designed to familiarise the inexperienced user with the basic concepts of Microsoft Office using Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint. Topics covered include the purpose and the best use for each of the package mentioned. Features common to each of the programmes will be highlighted.
This course is an overview of the Microsoft Office allowing delegates to get a flavour of the main packages in the Office suite.
This is a day one of a two-day course running from 9:30 am - 4:30 pm.
Training is hands-on and tutor-led.
We provide a comprehensive training manual, lunch and certification.
Courses run at our Swansea site.
This course can be run as a company specific option either at your site or our own.

Understand network concepts and connection options and be able to connect to a network.
Understand the importance of protecting data and devices from malware and of backing up data.
Health and Safety
Recognise considerations relating to green IT, accessibility and user health.
Typing and Mouse Practice
A opportunity to improve your typing and clicking skills.
This course is suitable for beginners with no prior ICT knowledge.
This course covers material from the European Computer Driving Licence and contributes to an ITQ qualification.
