Personal Learning Account
A Personal Learning Account is a new initiative from Welsh Government that has been introduced to address two growing issues; the barriers preventing learning in adulthood and the rising skill shortages currently facing priority sectors. Computeraid is working with Coleg Sir Gar on this exciting new initiative.
ReAct
ReAct is a package of support for people made redundant within the last 3 months to help you gain new skills, overcome obstacles and improve your chances of returning to work following redundancy.
Workways+
Workways+ offers training and paid work experience opportunities to long-term unemployed people to help get their lives back on track.
Access Programme
Do you live in the South Wales Valleys? Are you an unemployed adult who just needs that little extra support to help you get a job and keep it? Then the Access Programme could be just for you.
Access provides vocational training grants to help you update your skills and improve your employment opportunities.
Better Jobs, Better Futures
The Better Jobs, Better Futures team offer a wide range of support to people in the Swansea area who are seeking new or better employment. They also assist local businesses who are seeking to develop and expand their workforce. Funding for training could be available via the Barriers Fund.
Food Skills Cymru
This is a Welsh Government programme providing a £3m support package to the food & drink manufacturing industry in Wales. The Food Skills Cymru programme will fund the delivery of technical and staff development training to food & drink businesses located in Wales. Computeraid is delighted to be on the framework of training providers for this exciting project.
SOVA ACE
The SOVA ACE (Achieving Change Through Employment) project focuses on the delivery of training and employment support to people from BAME and migrant backgrounds to raise their participation and progression in the labour market.
Remploy
Remploy Cymru deliver the Work and Health Programme Wales which offers tailored, community-based employment support including training for people with a disability or health condition, and the long-term unemployed, to help them develop their skills and enter work.
