One Note- Course Objectives

OneNote is a digital notebook that automatically saves and syncs your notes as you work. Type information in your notebook or insert it from other apps and web pages. Take handwritten notes or draw your ideas.This half day course is designed to familiarise the user with the basic features of Microsoft OneNote. After completing this course, you should be familiar enough to use Microsoft OneNote for daily tasks.

Introduction

An introduction to OneNote 365.  Synchronising Data; The OneNote Hierarchy; What can be stored in OneNote

OneNote Workbooks

Desktop and Web versions. Creating a notebook; Saving Notes and Notebooks

Adding elements

Adding a section; adding a page; adding a textbox; adding files; adding a picture; adding tables

Inserting a spreadsheet

Attach an Excel file; Embed a static image of the spreadsheet; Create a new spreadsheet

Recording Video and Audio

Working with media files

Using Tags

Adding A Tag; Searching for Tags; Removing Tags; Outlook and Tags

Track Changes

How to track changes in a Shared Notebook

This is a half day company specific course running from 9:30 am – 4:00 pm. Courses run in Swansea, on-site and online. Please email for further information.

Prerequisites

Attendees will gain the maximum benefit if they have used a laptop.
