Excel Workshop

Microsoft Office - Microsoft Excel

Course Overview

Practice new skills, ask questions, complete revision exercises and take the Excel online test.

This course is designed to allow delegates an opportunity to consolidate the knowledge gained during the Excel 1 and 2 courses. Delegates will practice their new skills, ask questions and complete revision exercises. Delegates will sit ''mock tests'' including online diagnostics. This will enable them to address any gaps in their knowledge prior to taking the actual online ITQ Excel exam. The results will be shared with the delegate immediately after the test.

This is one day course running from 9:30 am - 4:30 pm.
Training is hands-on and tutor-led.
We provide a comprehensive training manual, lunch and certification.
Courses run at our Swansea site.

This course can be run as a company specific option either at your site or our own.

Up to 70% funding for this course may be available if booked as part of a Skills for Industry training package. Check to see if you are eligible (email: [email protected]) before booking this training.

  • Course Content

    Revision

Revision of material covered in Word 1 & 2 using specially written exercises.

    Q & A Session

Opportunity to ask questions about subject matter and how it applies to delegate’s own work.

    Diagnostics

Diagnostic online tests have a detailed ''Results Page'' that provides extensive feedback to the candidates on all incorrectly answered questions, including a suggested solution for each, which significantly enhances the learning effect of these tests.

    Online Test

It is commonly accepted that knowledge and skills are best measured in an environment that is as near as possible to real-life. These tests allow candidates to carry out activities within the live application itself, whether that’s Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access, and the system then automatically judges whether they have achieved the required outcome.

  • Prerequisites

Delegates should have attended Excel level 1 and 2 courses.

Delegates must be registered with the British Computer Society prior to sitting the online test.

  • Qualification

This course covers material from the standard European Computer Driving Licence and contributes to an ITQ qualification / ECDL Extra.

  • Build on the knowledge gained to achieve an ITQ award.

    Suggested options include
Level 1 & 2 Microsoft courses including Word, Access, PowerPoint and Improving Productivity.

We can tailor a programme of training to help you achieve a relevant qualification
